Top 10 Swimsuit Brands You Need To Know About For Your 2022 Summer!
The best designer brands, budget bikinis, and size-inclusive labels… your swimsuit drawer will be full of options.
Hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
You know what I realized after spending a few days on the beach this past weekend?
My swimsuit game is sad.
I’m in serious need of some new swimwear.
ASAP.
I’ve gone deep on swimsuit research… and good news (!!!) — there’s a lot that’s great out there.
I happen to be a one-piece girl… but I know a lot of you, dear readers, wear bikinis.
Which is why I thought it’d be more helpful — smarter, really — to tell you which brands I love.
Then, you pick a suit!
Here you go:
MY TOP 10 SWIMSUIT BRANDS FOR SUMMER 2022:
1. ERES:

If you’re looking for the best of the best, look no further than Eres. Nothing comes close in terms of quality and fit. Just the chicest, simple swimsuits on the market. And Eres swimsuits last a lifetime.
2. ZIMMERMANN:

Zimmermann has great summer dresses and, over the past year or two, their swimsuits have gotten much better, too. Pro tip: size up.
3. ULLA JOHNSON:

Ulla Johnson is another brand I love to wear in the summer. Her printed dresses are fab and so are her swimsuits. Bonus: she makes a lot of matching coverups, too!
4. MATTEAU:
Source: Matteau
I first discovered Matteau at Kirna Zabête in East Hampton and was really taken by the brand’s offering of swimsuits and summer dresses that double as coverups. If I were to buy a bikini (which is unlikely, but still), I’d get The Crop Top and The High Waist Brief.

5. SWIMSUITS FOR ALL:

The complaint I often get from my plus-sized friends is that the offering for plus-sized women consists of muumuus and not much else. Swimsuits For All is helping to change the game. Chic and well-priced.

6. EVERLANE:

There’s a lot to love about Everlane swimwear beyond its size run: XXS to XXL. Each suit is made with regenerated nylon fiber made from nylon waste, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, and carpet flooring. And many are priced at less than $50 a suit.

7. GOOD AMERICAN:

Gotta hand it to Khloé Kardashian. Her Good American label — which was born out of her need to find “sexy jeans for all sizes” — also makes some pretty chic swimwear. And you can’t beat the price.
8. HUNZA G:

Remember that blue and white cutout dress Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman? It was made by Hunza G, known back then as simply Hunza. The brand is famous for its forgiving “crinkle-stretch” fabric.
9. BONDI BORN:

I love this Australian brand’s offering of both bikinis and one-piece swimsuits. My personal favorites — the two-tone Marley and the Camilla.
10. COVER SWIM:

If you’re a girl who loves to surf or you’re just more active than most, Cover Swim is a good choice. Functional and chic always works.
